Aramid to Present Enhanced SmartCert 1.5 at Fastener Fair USA

Aramid Technologies, the developer of SmartCert®, will demonstrate the newly upgraded SmartCert 1.5 at the Fastener Fair in Detroit, Michigan, on May 17th – 19th, 2022. Fastener Fair USA is the leading exhibition in the US dedicated to the entire fastener supply chain–distributors, mechanical and design engineers, purchasers, wholesalers, and OEMs.

With SmartCert 1.5, suppliers can now instantly send certs to their customers’ free and secure cloud-based SmartCert account. Prior to this automation, SmartCerts were accessed and uploaded to the customers’ dashboard via QR code or email.

“With one click, your customers now receive certs in their SmartCert dashboard,” says Lyndon Lattie, co-founder and CEO of Aramid Technologies. “The QR code continues to provide 24/7 mobile access where and when you need to view certs, but it is no longer the primary way to transfer certs. This new automation further increases the speed and efficiency of cert transfer, and gives customers the chance to preview certs before the product is physically received.”

For decades, quality cert transfer has been an inefficient and error-prone manual process. SmartCert is a universally accessible platform that automates quality cert transfer, giving customers self-service access to their certs and eliminating the expense and hassle of paper.

“Innovative companies are using technology to gain competitive advantage. Companies that are not innovating are falling behind. SmartCert is a great first step toward digital transformation because it improves customer satisfaction and increases margins without undertaking a time-consuming systems implementation project. Customers begin realizing the benefits within two weeks without disrupting your daily business,” says Paul Decker, co-founder of Aramid Technologies. “We are taking the paper and the work out of quality paperwork to help companies run smoother and to protect our planet.”

SmartCert provides free, cloud-based customer Starter Accounts for recipients of SmartCerts. The Starter Accounts allow up to 10 users per company to freely and securely access their certs. Giving customers self-service tools to access their certs cuts down on repeated requests to resend paperwork, freeing employees to do more productive work.
