The partnership gets underway immediately with the integration of more than 1,000 FOD functional digital fitness classes into Salt’s comprehensive program, as well as the creation of a FitnessOnDemand room at the new 13,000 square foot World Gym Pensacola, Fl., one of the first locations to employ the Salt Athletics’ Scientific Wellness program.

Salt Athletics’ scientific wellness program combines the stacked applications of red light therapy, halotherapy (dry salt inhalation), oxgen concentration, negative ion imersion, HIIT, ionized water, extraction juice and functional exercise together with immersive video content to bring a wide variety of health and wellness benefits to club members. The protocols can help improve the respiratory system, increase VO2max, speed recovery of muscles and ligament sprains, help fight depression and mood swing, deliver more energy, and increase vitality, youthful appearance, weight loss and improve athletic performance.

The Salt Athletics experience gives members access to a series of wellness and fitness room experiences. These include the Athletic Advantage Room which features recumbent and upright cardio bikes from Precor, as well as immersive video screens. The Red Room On-Demand focuses on Fitness On-Demand where members can experience more than 1,000 interactive functional workout videos. The Recovery Red Room is outfitted with a state-of-the-art Hydro Massage lounge along with immersive video, and the Extreme Performance Room is loaded with HIIT Rogue Echo bikes and immersive video.
